Stretch mark camouflage refers to the use of various techniques and products to conceal or minimize the appearance of stretch marks on the skin. Stretch marks, also known as striae, are often the result of rapid growth, weight gain, or hormonal changes that cause the skin to stretch beyond its usual capacity, leading to the development of visible lines or streaks on the skin.

We can conceal stretch marks at our studio with two techniques:

  • Stretch mark camouflage with inks (blending lighter, non-textured marks with natural skin tone)
  • Stretch mark resurfacing with a combination of serums + inks (for deep, textured stretch marks)

Scar camouflage via paramedical tattooing, is a cosmetic tattooing technique used to conceal or minimize the appearance of scars on the skin. This process involves applying pigments into the skin to match the natural skin tone and texture, helping to blend the scar with the surrounding tissue.

We can conceal stretch marks at our studio with two techniques:

  • Scar camouflage with inks (blending darker, non-textured scars with natural skin tone)
  • Scar resurfacing with a combination of serums + inks (for textured stretch marks)

Microblading is an excellent choice for individuals seeking a subtle enhancement of their brows, prioritizing a natural look over a more pronounced, dramatic style.

This is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance or create the appearance of eyebrows. This method involves the use of a manual handheld tool with fine needles to create small, hair-like strokes in the upper dermis and deposit pigment into the skin to create individual hair strokes. The result is natural-looking, fuller eyebrows that can last for about one to three years, depending on individual factors and aftercare.

Recommended for:

  • Normal to dry skin
  • Thin brows that lack shape/fullness
  • Fuller brows looking for added density

Combination brows refer to a technique that combines two popular eyebrow enhancement methods: microblading and shading. This approach aims to create a more textured and natural-looking result by combining the realistic appearance of individual hair strokes with the soft (typically in the front brows) and filled-in effect achieved through shading.

Recommended for:

  • All skin types; for those that cannot get microblading
  • Fuller, more dramatic brows with natural, hairlike fronts

Non-laser tattoo and pigment removal refer to methods or techniques used to remove unwanted tattoos or permanent makeup without the use of laser technology. While laser tattoo removal is a common and effective method, some individuals may prefer non-laser alternatives for various reasons, including cost, skin sensitivity/pain, and number of return visits.

This technique involves applying a salt-based solution to the tattooed area and then abrading the skin's surface using a tattoo machine. Afterwards, a solution is placed on the area that aids in lifting the tattoo pigments from the skin. Multiple sessions will be required.

At Inkling Beauty Bar, we utilize Tattoo Vanish's non-laser tattoo removal methods.

Tattooed areolas, also known as areola pigmentation or nipple/areola tattooing, is a cosmetic tattooing procedure designed to enhance or recreate the appearance of the areolas and nipples. This technique is often sought by individuals who have undergone breast reconstruction surgery, mastectomy, or breast augmentation and want to achieve a more natural-looking result. We create the illusion of hyperrealistic areolas with three-dimensional drawing and tattooing techniques.

Some notes about permanent makeup & paramedical tattooing

✨✨Stretch Mark Camouflage Results✨✨

It can be expected that a full scar or stretch mark camouflage treatment can take more than one round of tattooing. But look at how big of a contrast just one treatment made for this client! 😍

What is Stretch Mark Camoflauge?

In addition to stretch marks, camouflage tattoos can be applied to scars, vitiligo, sunspots and more! Here are some details and facts relating to how camouflage tattoos work.

Camouflage Tattoo + Tan?

The ink pigments tattooed into your skin will not change color. So as you tan and your skin’s overtone darkens, your stretch marks will remain the same color as your natural skin-toned ink tattoo. There will be less contrast from your tanned skin vs. the tattoos than when your stretch marks were white like they were prior to the tattoos!

Red Light Therapy Aided Healing

If my clients want an extra aid in their healing, we use a low wavelength red light after clients get their stretch mark or scar camouflage treatment! Some benefits of red light include the ability to stimulate collagen production, increase fibroblast production, increase blood circulation to the tissue, and reduce inflammation in cells.
